Track Description
Probably the most technical track on the GNC circuit,
Daniel Boone is more of an outdoor Supercross track than a traditional Motocross
track. The track is situated deep in a valley making it one of the most
spectator friendly stops on the circuit. A red clay and sawdust mixture
makes up the track surface and makes for great traction. The start is yet
another uphill start followed by a hairpin left turn and tabletop. You’ll
want to get a good start at this one as passing options are limited due
to the track’s narrow width (it’s not that the track itself
is narrow, it’s just that riders tend to play follow the leader throughout
practice and the end result is a one lined track). Once you’ve landed
the first tabletop, another hairpin Right turn awaits you followed by a
step up and small double. A plunge into the valley is next as you go down
the side of one mountain and up the side of another one. A long whoop section
is next followed by a downhill S-turn and a couple of doubles back up the
hillside. A right turn will introduce you to another one of the famous jumps
on the circuit. The “Table of Two” is basically a huge table
top stacked on top of an even huger table top. As if that isn’t enough
you’ll then motor over a single, followed by the “Supercross
Six” (a series of six peaked jumps, generally strung together as three
doubles), a tricky down and up S-turn puts you over the finish line step
up and sends you to what most refer to as the Supercross section. Three
straightaways strung together with tabletops, step ups, and a triple are
the last things you’ll have to conquer before starting your next lap.
Driving Directions
5 miles West of I-75 .... it says 6.5 on website
but because the Billboard on the 4-lane is exactly 5 miles from I-75 then the
short road then left turn 1.5 miles on KY Hwy 1956 ... After 5 miles
the 4-lane turns to 2 lanes. I don't think it's as confusing if you just say
5 miles... because at 6.5 miles your in the bon docks on Hwy 80 ... towards
Somerset KY and hard to turn around on the two lane and no houses ...

you’ll find the majority of the racers. Fast food is also available
in the vicinity. For Ruby Tuesdays and other sit down meal options you’ll
want to head south on I-75 to the next exit.
