Track Description
Located in the deep South, and widely recognized as a
track that separates the men from the boys, Echeconnee WILL beat you. Comprised
entirely of a sand-clay mixture, which turns the entire track into a whoop
section. Echeconnee will test not only your will and determination, but
your machines’ as well. Pray for an early moto at this one, the track
gets rougher minute by minute, yet Mark Barnett and Donny Banks somehow
manage to provide a safe and fun track year after year. The concrete starting
pad is intimidating, but once the two-minute card comes out you’ll
forget all about it. As the gate drops, you’ll enter a long dogleg
start stretch, which veers left before turning Right. Here you’ll
encounter the first of many bowl turns followed by a downhill whoop section.
Another deep bowl will greet you at the bottom of the hill and send you
up towards the first triple and rhythm section. Did I mention that Echeconnee
is a hybrid SX-MX style track? Upon exiting you’ll find yourself at
the entrance of a downhill hairpin turn with a formidable double at the
end of it. Hang a right, rocket down the straightaway towards another bowl
turn and big rhythm section (The promoters change it every year, so I’ll
skip a description), a couple of tight turns, an off camber and a couple
of straight-aways later you’ll find yourself hitting the last big
triple. Two doubles, a right-hander and you’re over the finish line
and approaching a high speed, high banked bowl turn around the spectators.
One more whoop section and its time for lap two. Racers love Echeconnee
for its width and passing options.

From Atlanta take 75 south to the bypass 475 go south to US 80 Exit 3
Turn right go about 3.5 miles to Knoxville Rd turn left. Go out about 5 miles
track on left.
From FL take 75 North to the 475 bypass to exit 3 turn left go about
3.5 miles to Knoxville Rd turn left. Go out about 5 miles track on left.
