450 Ridgeway Dr | Blountville, TN 37617-6568
Track Description
Muddy Creek’s surface is beautiful, brown, loamy
dirt. The track itself is in a valley making it extremely easy for spectators
to follow the race action. As the gate drops you face a slightly uphill
start stretch before entering a tight hairpin turn which propels you back
downhill and around the base of the announcers tower, a quick right hander
and you’re over the ski jump and into a left handed bowl turn, exit
the bowl and charge directly passed the spectators and over the tabletop,
a section of tight turns awaits you along with a small whoop or rhythm section.
A small straightaway lies between you and the uphill staircase section just
before the finish line. A series of huge step ups & tabletops follows,
before heading back downhill and into the uphill whoop section, a left hander
around the big tree and you’re headed for a small double, a couple
of elevation changes and one final step up. The overall layout of the track
is awesome, the jumps are safe, & there are plenty of places to pass
at this one.
